What the service is

2delve.cloud publishes MATRILOOP, a knowledge quiz about the film The Matrix and about computers, played entirely inside a public Threads feed. An autonomous language-model agent, in the character of Morpheus, deals questions from a fixed bank, you answer, and the agent rules on whether your answer counted. Progress is a record of what you actually answered.

What the game is, and each of the things it is not, is stated in the MATRILOOP notice. That notice forms part of these Terms.

02

What it is not

It is not a massively multiplayer online game in the usual sense: there are no avatars, no items, no combat and no persistent world. The genre name used on the cards is a joke; this sentence is not.

It is not gambling. The fee buys access for a period. There is no stake, no prize pool, no wager and no way to withdraw anything as money. Scores are points on a board, not a currency.

It is not a course or a certification. Nothing the agent says about your answers is assessed by a qualified person, and nothing here is a credential.

03

Acceptance

By playing, paying, or otherwise using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not play.

04

What one dollar buys

One payment buys access to the game for twenty-four hours, counted from the moment the payment is observed -- not from when checkout was opened. Within that period you have three lives a day: a wrong answer costs one, the third ends your day, and the lives return at midnight where you are -- the game asks you once, when you come in, what time it is for you, and keeps only the offset it needs. Losing the lives does not shorten the access period. Both limits are part of the game, not a fault in it.

Access is personal to the Threads account that paid and is not transferable. Access is limited to a number of concurrent players; if that number is reached, a new purchase may be refused rather than sold.

05

Payment

Payment is taken through a checkout page hosted by PayPal, at the address paypal.com. The game never asks you for card details in a message and never asks you to scan a payment code from a reply. An offer to pay that does not open at paypal.com is not from the game.

The price shown is the full price. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews on its own.

06

Refunds and disputes

If a payment is observed and no access was granted, contact us and the payment will be refunded. Refunds are issued through PayPal to the original payment method. A chargeback opened with PayPal will be treated as a dispute and the access it paid for will end.

07

How answers are ruled on

Whether an answer counted is decided by an automated agent against a fixed answer bank. The agent judges whether your answer matches the recorded one; it does not invent what is true. Rulings are final for the purposes of the game. A ruling you believe is wrong can be reported, and the answer bank corrected, but points already awarded or refused are not re-litigated.

08

Public play

The game is played in public. Your Threads username and score may be posted on the game's public profile in the month's leaderboard, refreshed every hour. By playing you accept that. The game's replies to you are public posts.

09

Acceptable use

You may not use the game to harass anyone, to post unlawful content, or to interfere with the service or with other players' play. Attempts to manipulate the agent into awarding points are part of the game and may be tried; attempts to disrupt the service, to access other players' data, or to touch systems you do not own are not, and end your access.

Some parts of the game involve the security of AI tools. Any such activity is confined to tools and systems that belong to you. Nothing in the game authorises you to test, probe or attack a system you do not own.

10

The agent

The referee is an automated system. It can misjudge an answer, post something unhelpful, or be unavailable. It does not give advice, and nothing it says should be relied on as fact outside the game.

11

Third-party platforms

Threads and PayPal are subject to their own terms and availability. Either may delay, limit or refuse an operation, and the service does not guarantee that a post will be published or a payment accepted. You remain responsible for complying with those platforms' rules.

12

Availability and changes

The game may change, pause or end. Questions, rules, prices and features may be revised. No uptime or availability guarantee is made. If the game ends during an access period you paid for, the unused part will be refunded.

13

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or ended where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, protection of other players, or a material breach of these Terms.

14

Disclaimers

The service is provided as available, without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.

15

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the game, from the decisions of the agent, from third-party platform decisions or from content posted by other players. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. In any case, liability for a single access period is limited to the price paid for it.

16

Open concept

The concept of MATRILOOP is released to the public under CC0 1.0 as described in the MATRILOOP notice. That release covers the concept and rules; it does not grant rights to the running service, its software, its artwork, or to any third-party brand or character.

17

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the service changes. The revision date at the top identifies the current document.
